All Ashleigh & Burwood fragrance lamps are supplied with a clear manual and funnel. A fragrance lamp eliminates less pleasant smells and purifies the air through a process that is called Catalytic oxidation. If the stone is lit, it gets very hot. With these high temperatures, the Catalytic oxidation process takes place in the stone. This reaction purifies the air and destroys dirty odors in the environment (think of cooking smells, pets, smoke or nicotine etc. etc.).
