Geniek Janowski, firefighter, loving husband, father of two sons, co-owner of a pony and decent citizen in Heerlen, is one day exempted by fate.

The men of the C-team drag Janowski, who is called the Pole by everyone, through it and the wife of colleague Beckers is at the door with edible comfort. However, their comfort appears to bring even more disaster. The Pole then decided not to be disgusted by his fate but to love it.



good men is a moving and desperate novel about a father who thinks a good man always takes a step aside, that being good is not much different than longing for it good. You simply silence fewer desires.
